Urgent care physicians needed in Warwick, Providence or Johnston, RI.  Lifespan Physician Group’s (LPG) Urgent Care Centers has openings for board certified or eligible family medicine physicians to work just 3 days per week in one of our state-of-the-art sites. LPG is the largest multi-specialty group of physicians in Rhode Island and has four urgent care sites. Our urgent care sites are staffed by two providers, 2 medical assistants, and administrative staff.  

About the job:

  • Hours of operation are 8:00am-8:00pm M-F, 8:00am-6:00pm weekends
  • Full and part time opportunities available
  • Work in one location or rotate to various sites
  • Option to pick up additional shifts
  • See a broad range of patients aged 18 months+
  • Clinically, culturally, and economically diverse patients
  • No advanced practice provider supervision
  • Potential for a leadership position

  • Successful completion of a US based Family Medicine or Med-Ped Residency
  • Comfort with sutures and quick read x-rays required
