Medical Director, Breast Imaging Radiologist Physician - SSM Health Breast Care in St. Louis

• Seeking an experienced Breast Imaging Radiologist for a planned leadership transition
• Medical Director position with 0.8 clinical FTE and 0.2 administrative FTE split
• Solid foundation, knowledge, and/or experience in Breast Imaging Radiology
• Ability to work collaboratively with our SSM Health Cancer Care team
• Three clinical locations covered

Growing group seeks additional fellowship trained breast radiologist to join an amazing and collegial team of 5 sub-specialty breast radiologists. Due to a planned transition, seeking a candidate with leadership experience to continue advancing the group and provide expert engagement with a multi-state not for profit health system a. The group values clinical excellence and work life harmony. Unique group structure, established four years ago, employed by hospital to provide the highest caliber of breast imaging services across three facilities. Program oversight includes more than 90K breast imaging exams annually. Operations are developing to support the ideal breast imager workflow. Hologic mammography equipment. SECTRA PACS to be installed this calendar year. On-site dedicated breast diagnostic nurse navigators at each location and a robust high-risk program with breast high-risk nurse navigators. One dedicated nurse navigator for each radiologist in clinic, daily. Highly experienced multidisciplinary team with fellowship-trained breast surgeons.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship in Breast Imaging or relevant clinical experience
• Leadership experience in academic or private practice
• Hold and maintain an unrestricted medical license in the state of Missouri and Illinois
• Meet the requirements (and become a member) of the Hospital medical staff
