Southwest Medical Associates is looking for a BC/BE physician with ER experience to join us on a supplemental basis in Clifton, TX. Located 35 miles outside of Waco, TX, this hospital serves a rural community and provides top quality care for a diverse population. 

  • 5 ER Beds
  • Level IV Trauma
  • Requires: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
  • Accepts 3rd Year Residents
  • Physicians on staff: FP 13, GS 1, IM 1
  • Volume: About 450 Monthly
  • 16% Pediatric, 28 % Geriatric, 3 % Trauma
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Shift Limit: Up to 48 hours (after first shift)
  • OB Protocol
  • Lab and X-RAY available 24 hours
  • ER physician not responsible for admission
  • Admit/ Transfer Protocol

Short-term skilled rehabilitation services also are provided for patients no longer needing acute care but not yet strong enough to return home. Patients who have been hospitalized at any hospital, including Goodall-Witcher, may receive this care at Goodall-Witcher. The hospital also provides outpatient lab, radiology and rehabilitation (occupational, speech and physical therapies).
