General Surgery opportunities with INTEGRIS Health Miami and INTEGRIS Health Grove, Oklahoma

INTEGRIS Health Oklahoma has an opportunity for a board certified or board eligible General Surgeon to join an established hospital-based practice in Grove and Miami, Oklahoma.

Grove and Miami are each less than 80 miles from Tulsa and 50 miles from Joplin. Both provide for lake living at its best, on the states most beautiful lake, Grand Lake.

The General Surgeon Candidate would join an established practice with other General Surgeons in the clinic, with primary base in Miami, Oklahoma but covering 1 in 4 call with both INTEGRIS Health Grove and INTEGRIS Health Miami, appx 30 miles apart.  The outpatient clinic is in close proximity to INTEGRIS Health Miami facility, providing easy and quick access to the hospital.

Located off Interstate 40 just a short 16 miles from downtown Oklahoma City, INTEGRIS Canadian Valley Hospital consists of approximately 180,000 square feet and includes 75 inpatient beds as well as a medical office building. The hospital has 57 private medical surgical rooms, a 19-bed women’s unit and a 8-bed intensive care unit. 

The surgical department of the hospital includes a dedicated C-section operating room and three general surgical rooms as well as two endoscopy suites and an 12-bed outpatient procedure unit. Services also include a level three Emergency department and Radiology services consisting of mammography, radiological, fluoroscopy, CT scan, ultrasound, bone density, nuclear medicine and MRI. General laboratory services are available along with cardiopulmonary capabilities and a physical medicine department.

The medical office building houses an INTEGRIS Family Medicine Clinic, a general surgery practice, an internal medicine practice, OB/GYN practices, a digestive disease clinic, and a specialty clinic where a variety of specialists see patients on a part time basis.
