Position Overview:

We are seeking a Fellowship-trained Cornea Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our distinguished team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a premier practice that is academically oriented yet operates with the autonomy and financial benefits of private practice. You will be joining a team of highly respected colleagues in a state-of-the-art facility, using the latest technology to deliver cutting-edge care.

 

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced corneal care, including medical and surgical treatments for corneal diseases and conditions.
- Collaborate with a team of expert ophthalmologists and optometrists to deliver comprehensive, multidisciplinary patient care.
- Engage in clinical research and contribute to the academic environment, with opportunities to participate in teaching and mentoring.
- Serve as a key provider in the care of professional athletes as part of our role as team doctors for major Washington, D.C. sports teams.
- Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical equipment in a technologically advanced setting.

Qualifications:
- Board-certified.
- Fellowship-trained in Cornea and External Disease.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing Cornea Specialist.
- Strong clinical and surgical expertise in corneal care.
- A commitment to academic medicine and a passion for advancing the field through research and innovation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to patient care.
