Functional and Epilepsy Neurosurgeon
Corewell Health Medical Group East seeks a fellowship trained functional and epilepsy neurosurgeon for adult and pediatric patients at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital located in Southeast Michigan (Royal Oak, MI).
The candidate must possess high level expertise in movement disorders neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery and neuromodulation for pain. Corewell Health East has dedicated epilepsy and movement disorders neurologists as well as pain management specialists to help facilitate patient referrals and management.
Corewell Health William Beaumont University Children's Hospital neuroscience team was the first in Michigan to establish a Pediatric Stereoelectroencephalography(EEG) Epilepsy Surgery Program. There is a dedicated Epilepsy monitoring unit and MEG facility and the surgeon will work closely with the epileptologists to coordinate surgical care and management. Additionally there is a ROSA robotics platform and Laser Interstitial Stereotactic targeting platform for surgical cases.
