Hematologist Oncologist Position, AdventHealth Winter Garden, Florida

Overview

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic, energetic and team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join AdventHealth Medical Group at our AdventHealth Winter Garden location, not far from Downtown Orlando.

• This opportunity would provide inpatient and outpatient services to that community seeing a variety of hematology and oncology patients.
• The practice would also align with AdventHealth Apopka collaborating with two physicians and two APPs. Infusion services also available at Apopka just down the road
• Radiation and Surgical Support will be available throughout our system
• Access to research, clinical trials, Phase 1 and tumor boards (daily)
• The ideal candidate will have experience with practice building in a new market and seeing a variety of hem malignancies and solid tumor patients.
• Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice including weekends
• Practice will have support of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition etc.. 
• Extended network of 6 other medical oncology sites surrounding Orlando

Requirements of the position include:

• Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Experience with practice building in a new market is preferred

Practice Description

This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation.
