Banner Children’s Specialists (BCS), a multispecialty group within Banner Health, is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Plastic Surgeon, Full – Time, to join our pediatric specialties group within the greater Phoenix area. Candidate should be comfortable with a wide range of pediatric procedures and completed training in Pediatrics and Plastics.
Banner Children’s at Desert Medical Center, located on the campus of Banner Desert Medical Center (BDMC) in Mesa, AZ, is a state-of-the-art 206-bed children’s care facility that opened in November 2009. With a growing cardiac service line has 104 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit beds and 24 Pediatric Intensive Care Unit beds staffed with 24/7 Intensivists and serves a Pediatric Population of 350,000. Pediatric Emergency Department provides specialized emergency care for kids of all ages and includes 26 beds. Pediatric Trauma Services were implemented in November of 2017. The hospital provides a full range of services with more than 240 pediatric physicians on staff, covering more than 27 specialties.

Banner Children's at Desert Medical Center provides comprehensive pediatric care from general to emergency, as well as services for specific childhood diseases. Highly trained physician specialists, social services staff and numerous integrative therapy programs ensure a complete range of care for children. Banner Children's at Desert Medical Center features 248 beds, specially trained nurses and doctors and family-centered care as well as an expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – from 65 beds to 86 beds.
