Academic Obstetric Hospitalist

The University of Rochester Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University is seeking a full-time academic general obstetrician-gynecologist with interests in Obstetric Hospitalist care.

Hospitalist OB/GYN services will include:

  • Low and High-risk Obstetrics for prenatal care through delivery with co-management, consultation and referral to UR MFM as appropriate
  • Gynecologic surgical services including inpatient surgeries
  • Access to world class OB/GYN, education and research specialists
  • Hospitalist will cover nights and weekends alongside another OB/Gyn Faculty member and a 4 member resident team with a robust back up system of both MFM specialists and Gynecologists.  14 and 24 hours shifts available

 

Qualifications

  • M.D., D.O., or equivalent
  • Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency program in obstetrics and gynecology
  • BC/BE by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Eligible to obtain a New York medical license or already be licensed in New York State
  • Board-certified with a minimum of 3-5 years post-residency experience preferred
