PM&R INPATIENT JOB DESCRIPTION HIGHLIGHTS
We are looking for a full time PM&R Inpatient University of Virginia employed faculty member interested in building a practice and growing with the community. Manage the rehabilitation needs of patients admitted to UVA-EH with goals of maximizing function, independence, and quality of life. Provide ongoing follow-up care to those patients post-discharge. This opportunity has a wonderful group of collegial physicians with plenty of specialty support from local UVA acute care hospitals.
The salary and rank are commensurate with education and experience. Appointment with tenure requires documented excellence in research and teaching and an emerging national reputation, at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor

QUALIFICATIONS
• MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R
• Patient-centered commitment to excellence
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
• Academic experience preferred but not required
