Position Summary

Radiology Associates of Florida is seeking a General Radiologist to support our practice in the Space Coast of Florida. This opportunity is a full-time, day shift position, offering the full range of benefits, including a generous signing bonus, PTO, and optional partnership track. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of diagnostic radiology, including mammography, and can perform light procedures. Nuclear medicine (PET/CT) skills would be a plus, but not required. We have a team-based style of practice, and our next Radiologist will be able to collaborate with an experienced team of subspecialists. Our team-based style also includes all Rads, in this division, to partake in vacation coverage for their peers at our local sister sites from time to time with Rockledge Regional Medical Center being their primary site. In the region, we serve Rockledge Regional Medical Center, Melbourne Regional Medical Center, Sebastian River Medical Center, and Parrish Medical Center, all of which can be found within the Space Coast of Florida.

Rockledge Regional Medical Center, Melbourne Regional Medical Center, and Sebastian River Medical Center are all members of the Steward Health Care system. Rockledge Regional Medical Center is a comprehensive health care provider in Brevard County, Florida. It is a 298-bed acute care hospital that offers a complete complement of health services and programs. Melbourne Regional Medical Center houses 119 private rooms and is designed for patient comfort. Sebastian River Medical Center, which is licensed for 178- beds serves residents and visitors of the Sebastian and Vero Beach communities. Lastly, our practice also supports Parrish Medical Center a 210-bed hospital within sight of the launch towers of Kennedy Space Center in Titusville, FL.  In 2002 PMC opened its 5-story replacement hospital at 371,000 sq ft. It was the first of its kind to be wholly designed and constructed using evidenced-based healing design earning them national recognition as One of America’s finest healing environments. These hospitals continue to focus on providing the highest quality of patient care to the Space Coast community and have earned numerous awards, recognitions, and certifications from various standards bodies, commissions, and other highly regarded organizations. These accolades are validations of the commitment to quality, comprehensive, and accessible care.

We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. In Sarasota, our physicians staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology 
• Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
