OBGYN: Maternal and Fetal Medicine
The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified MFM specialist to join its team in delivering compassionate and quality care to the community. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment with state-of-the-art facilities.
About the Position:
The University of Kansas Health System's Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine consists of five experienced MFM specialists who provide the entire spectrum of Maternal-Fetal care with cutting-edge technology. Call coverage includes the inpatient High-Risk Pregnancy service, with a rotation of 1 week in 5, primarily phone-only after normal business hours.
The practice is largely outpatient and consultative, with deliveries managed by in-house hospitalist coverage. This opportunity includes the chance to perform amniocenteses, CVS, PUBS, and fetal shunt placements. Additionally, the division is actively engaged in research and is currently participating in several NIH-funded grant studies, as well as institutional collaborations.
Our Center for Advanced Fetal Care is supported by ARDMS certified sonographers, five experienced nurse coordinators, three board-certified perinatal genetic counselors, medical assistants, and patient service representatives. They work in concert with the physicians to ensure efficient and premium quality of care for our patients.
Our Level III NICU is staffed by full-time Neonatology specialists who are further supported by multiple Pediatric Subspecialists, including a Pediatric Surgery team.
