Dermatologist in Lakewood, NJ; Outpatient Only

CHEMED is currently seeking a part time or full time Dermatologist. This is a completely outpatient position. The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction.

Job Description

• Assessing patients’ skin diseases, conditions, and ailments to determine appropriate treatment
• Prescribing medication and creating treatment plans, referring patients for surgery where necessary
• Monitoring patient progress, monitoring the effects of any medication and adjusting treatment where necessary.
• Assessing and updating patients’ medical history, including keeping a record of patients’ symptoms
• Informing and educating patients on available treatments and preventative skincare
• Consult with the patient’s Primary Care Physician, Nurses or other health care providers.
• Write and maintain patient and clinical records, including the type of treatment and medication administered.
• Keep up-to-date with professional job knowledge by reading publications, attending educational conferences or maintaining professional networks.
• Follow ethical and legal policies, procedures and standards.

Position Qualifications:

• MD/DO
• Active/Eligible for NJ medical license, CDS, DEA
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Dermatology
• A strong work ethic and desire to participate in team-oriented, performance-driven Health Systems.
