NORTON WOMEN’S CARE is seeking an American  Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology-certified or eligible  obstetrics/gynecology physician to join a network of  more than 100 women’s care providers at multiple office  locations throughout Greater Louisville. Norton Women’s  Care is part of Norton Medical Group, the physician
practice division of Norton Healthcare in Louisville,  Kentucky. Norton Medical Group provides a referral base  of more than 1,600 providers, including over 350 adult primary care providers.   

About the Position

  • Inpatient and outpatient coverage
  • Opportunity to partner with the Institute for Health Equity, a Part of  Norton Healthcare, to improve care for underserved women across  their life span
  • Full-time position with four days per week work schedule
  • 24-hour obstetric hospitalist program on-site at both Norton  Healthcare facilities where babies are delivered
  • Competitive salary with guarantee during the initial term
  • Additional bonus available based on productivity, quality metrics and  physician engagement
  • Opportunity to work with the underserved as well as the immigration and rural population
  • Strong and experienced physicians and advanced practice providers to partner with
  • Doula program in place to partner with patients during their pregnancy and after to offer assistance and resources to include travel arrangements, housing, offer baby supplies as needed and assistance in the home post pregnancy
  • Complimentary valet parking offered to all patients at the practice and Norton Hospital to assist with the financial burden of parking downtown
  • Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Lactation Consultant included with the practice  

 

Requirements

  • Medical degree/diploma
  • Residency/fellowship certification
  • Kentucky medical license or license eligible
