Norton Healthcare acquired the hospital in early 2022 and renamed it Norton King’s Daughters’ Health. It is Norton Healthcare’s sixth hospital and its first outside of Louisville, Kentucky. King’s Daughters’ Hospital was established in 1899 and has since grown into a regional health center. It serves residents throughout southeast Indiana and northern Kentucky. Its additional services include an outpatient rehabilitation center, home health and hospice services, a convenient care center and an award-winning cancer treatment center affiliated with Norton Cancer Institute.
About the Position
- General Orthopedic practice providing both inpatient & outpatient services with call
- Call 1 in 3 – participate in call coverage for clinic, hospital rounding, admissions, ER consults and call
- Participate in Total Joint Program
- Sports medicine (including a variety of joint and muscular injuries). Athletic trainers provide dedicated services to many area high schools. We also care for weekend warriors, fracture care, joint replacement and reconstruction, arthroscopic procedures, arthritis problems, joint problems and injuries (shoulders, knees, hips, elbows and ankles), pediatric care, ligament and tendon care (Achilles tendons, wrists, ankles, knees and shoulders)

- Office suite is adjacent to the hospital
- Only hospital in the county offering orthopedic services
- 7 ORs and one cysto room – we run 4 rooms every day and hold one for OB
- We have 25 primary care providers spread across seven locations that refer back to our Orthopedic team
- Lab and x-ray services on site
Requirements
- Residency/fellowship certification
- Board certification or board eligible
- Indiana medical license or license eligible
