Job Description

Women's health services at Norton King's Daughters' Health located in Madison, IN is seeking an American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology-certified or eligible obstetrics/gynecology physician to join our current team which consists of a physician, a Midwife  and one nurse practitioner.  Women's health services focuses on a variety of unique needs of women throughout their lives with a goal to provide innovative, personal care that provides the patient with an exceptional experience. Norton King’s Daughters’ Health list of women health services include:

  • Breast Care Program
  • Maternity Care
  • Gynecology

About the Position 

  • Open to new grads
  • OBGYN practice providing both inpatient and outpatient service with call
  • Call 1 in 4 – participate in call coverage for clinic, hospital rounding, admissions, ER consults and call
  • Enjoy the benefits of having an established patient base from day one
  • Four (4) day work week
  • Office suite is adjacent to the hospital
  • Level 1 Nursery
  • Only hospital in the county offering obstetrics and gynecology
  • Deliver approximately 371 babies per year 
  • Opportunity to grow market share
  • 7 ORs and one cysto room – we run 4 rooms every day and hold one for OB
  • We have 25 primary care providers spread across seven locations that refer back to our OBGYN team
  • NKDH C-section rate is lower than the National rate
  • We do 10-12 VBACs a year (Average 1 a month)
  • Lab and x-ray services on site
  • Competitive salary with guarantee during the initial term
  • Additional bonus available based on productivity, quality metrics and physician engagement
  • $100,000 in reimbursement for candidates coming out of residency

Requirements

  • Medical degree/diploma
  • Residency/fellowship certification
  • Indiana medical license 
  • Board Certified or Board eligible

About Norton King’s Daughters’ Hospital

King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana, has been caring for the community for over 120 years, and opened its primary campus and 86-bed, acute-care hospital in 2013.
