Only 1-2 hours a week to provide your expertise in Oncology by conducting Utilization Reviews (UR) in the Utilization Management/Peer Review process, and benefit by:

Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA) is a national Independent Review Organization (IRO), who facilitates the review of medical claims to determine treatment appropriateness; known as Peer Review or Utilization Review.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Each case typically takes between 30-60 minutes to complete.
- Peer-to-peer calls are required on about ½ the cases (daytime availability is required).
- You will be covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (traditional Malpractice Insurance is not applicable for review work)
- Work anywhere within the USA (Per HIPAA Regulations patient records cannot leave the US).
- Non-employed Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be Board Certified in Oncology
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience following residency (fellowship is included in the 5 years)
- Must have solid computer navigation skill.
- Must have an unrestricted state medical licensure.
- Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card (we are unable to sponsor a VISA)
