Podiatrist

Midland Health is seeking Board-Certified/Eligible Podiatrist to join one of the best multi-specialty groups in West Texas, Premier Physicians. Midland Health and Premier Physicians are currently serving the Permian Basin and its surrounding communities, with catchment area boasting 450,00 people. Premier is seeking a dynamic and team orientated physician to join its team of 10 primary care physicians, 21 specialists, and 23 Advanced Practice Providers in Midland, Texas.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Eligible in Podiatry
• Fellowship acceptance or trained in Podiatry
• Must also possess an unrestricted Texas Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the state of Texas

Responsibilities:

• Podiatrist responsibilities include providing all services as authorized by the Texas podiatry License
• Examine patients’ feet to diagnose disease
• Perform diabetic and geriatric checks, wound care, treat foot and leg injuries, order X-rays and ultrasounds, etc
• Review patients’ medical history
• Advise patients on foot care and general wellness practices
• Coordinate with other medical professionals including but not limited to local orthopedics group and primary care providers
