Position Highlights: 

  • Work-Life Balance: 4.5-day work week, avg. 18-20 clinic patients per day and Onsite Pharmacy
  • Desirable Practice Setting: Multi-specialty community-based practice at a large regional referral center with no competition
  • Ideal Work Environment: Comprehensive outpatient center includes radiation oncology, palliative care and hospice care programs
  • Favorable Call Schedule: Call currently shared with three employed providers and one private practice oncologist. Weekend call only, with APCs taking first call before escalating to a physician - APCs provide night call coverage during the week
  • Culture & Support: EPIC EMR system, Private office for the physician, 7 exam rooms and Onsite infusion center with 18 chairs and 2 beds.
  • Professional Growth Opportunities: Opportunity to be part of the 5th largest Catholic healthcare system in the U.S that serves a 10-county area with a population of over 480,000. Strong referral base with limited competition in the region

Compensation & Benefits:  

  • Compensation: Base + RVU and $35,000 Sign on Bonus
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, dental, vision, life/AD&D, and short-/long-term disability insurance. 403b retirement plan with Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 
  • Student Loan Repayment Assistance: $65,000 in student loan repayment

Qualifications: 

  • Degree: MD or DO
  • Certifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • Licensure: Eligible for medical licensure in Ohio
  • Skillset: Experience treating breast, head/neck, and gastrointestinal cancers. Ability to manage malignant hematology cases
  • Experience: All experience levels considered
  • Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship not available
