In addition to primary care, our clinic also offers integrated occupational health services.

As a Primary Care Physician in our rural healthcare practice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to a diverse patient population. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, providing preventative care, and promoting the overall well-being of our patients. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rural community. Additionally, our clinic features an embedded occupational health department, allowing you to collaborate with experts in this field.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.
  • Current state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering compassionate care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to live and work in a rural area.
  • Dedication to community health and patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care:
    • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments.
    • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, illnesses, and injuries.
    • Develop and implement patient care plans, including prescription medications and treatment recommendations.
    • Offer health education and counseling to patients for disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Chronic Disease Management:
    • Manage and monitor chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
    • Work with patients to develop personalized care plans for long-term health maintenance.
  • Preventative Care:
    • Administer immunizations, vaccinations, and regular screenings for early disease detection.
    • Promote preventive healthcare through patient education and community outreach.
  • Occupational Health Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with our embedded occupational health department to assess and address work-related health issues.
    • Provide medical evaluations for employment-related assessments and return-to-work evaluations.
    • Collaborate with occupational health specialists to ensure the well-being of workers in our community.
  • Community Involvement:
    • Engage with the local community and participate in community health initiatives.
    • Contribute to healthcare outreach and education programs.
