ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, NC, is seeking a Board Certified General Surgeon to help provide coverage for their team.  

URGENT Coverage Needed - CREDENTIALED providers as there is not enough time to credential.

June 7th (7am) to June 10th (11am).

Inpatient Only
Call, Nights & Weekends
Not required to remain on-site while on call
Average # patients/day/provider: 7-8
Average # admissions/day: 1-2
Average # admissions/night: 1-2
# Surgical cases per month: 50
Does not respond to codes
Does not serve as back up in the ER

Procedures Required: Appendectomy, strangulated hernias, cholecystectomy, I&Ds, procedures that will be emergencies
