Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and IU Health Physicians are recruiting a Vascular Surgeon to join our experienced team. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative group of physicians and advanced practice providers while having clinical, academic and research duties. The Division of Vascular Surgery within the IU School of Medicine Department of Surgery and IU Health Vascular Surgery consists of ten clinical faculty, two basic science faculty and four advanced practice providers. The vascular surgery team prioritizes clinical care, innovative research and teaching the next generation of vascular specialists.
This division serves as the principal tertiary-care referral network for vascular disease across the state. The division serves patients at IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals, the Indianapolis VA Hospital, Eskenazi Hospital and four outreach locations throughout the state. The vascular surgery division performs 2,000 procedures each year, sees more than 7,500 outpatients per year and has interpreted 18,000 vascular labs each year. The Division supports two new residents each year, one in the integrated and one in the independent pathway, with a total of 9 residents per year.
