As a General Dentist, you'll gain valuable experience and start building your practice as a member of the distinguished U.S. Army Dental Corps. You’ll treat Soldiers suffering from diseases, injuries, and defects of the teeth, jaw, and mouth, and practice across the field of general dentistry to ensure that each Soldier is in optimal oral health.

Loan Repayment: Receive $250,000 in student loan repayment in $40,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the lending institution through the Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (HPLRP).
Sign-on Bonus: $30,000 signing bonus for 4 years of service.
Incentive Pay: $20,000 paid annually for each successful year of service.
Board Certification Pay: $8,000 additional annual bonus as long as board certification maintained.
Specialized Training Assistance: Monthly stipend while enrolled in an accredited residency program. Recipients must be a U.S. citizen and will serve in the Army Reserve after completing residency.
