Comprehensive EyeCare Partners and Eye Associates Northwest are currently looking for an exceptional Cornea Specialist to join their group in the Seattle Metro area. Eye Associates Northwest is the premier multispecialty ophthalmology group in the Pacific Northwest. You will be working alongside 16 other exceptional physicians, such as yourself, in the fields of Comprehensive/General, Oculoplastics, Pediatric, Glaucoma, Optometry, and another Cornea Specialist.

Snapshot of Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients about maintenance and promotion of healthy vision.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of health professionals to provide optimal patient care.
  • Provide or direct the provision of postoperative care
  • Document or evaluate patients' medical histories.
  • Perform, order, or interpret the results of diagnostic or clinical tests.
  • Develop treatment plans based on patients' histories and goals, the nature and severity of disorders, and treatment risks and benefits.
  • Perform surgical procedures
  • Perform comprehensive examinations of the visual system to determine the nature or extent of ocular disorders.
    Diagnose or treat injuries, disorders, or diseases of the eye and eye structures
  • Participates in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new physicians.

Education and/or Experience

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic
  • Completion of an ophthalmology residency training program
  • Completion of a cornea fellowship training program
  • BE/BC in ophthalmology

About Eye Associates Northwest

Eye Associates Northwest is the combination of two successful Seattle group ophthalmology practices: Eye Associates of Seattle and the Eye Clinic of Seattle. Eye Associates of Seattle and the Eye Clinic of Seattle had roots in practices established by individual physicians in the 1930s. Dr. H. Frederick Thorlakson opened his office in the Cobb Building in 1931, specializing in eye, ear, nose, and throat. Dr. Carl D. Jensen began his ophthalmology practice in the Medical Dental Building in 1934. Eye Associates Northwest, PC was later incorporated in Seattle in 1993, after the two groups merged.

Today, Eye Associates Northwest is a member of Comprehensive Eyecare Partners, an enterprise of 11 ophthalmic practices in the Western U.S.
