Pediatric Hospitalist - North Carolina

Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking an Academic Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Brenner Children’s Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.

The Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is a growing and highly collaborative team that provides opportunities to participate in a wide array of educational, research, quality, and safety scholarships in a supportive, academic setting. Our group of 15 faculty hospitalists and 2 Advanced Practice Providers care for children at Brenner Children’s Hospital on our Inpatient Teaching Services who have a broad range of medical needs, including co-management, complex care and patients requiring our Intermediate Care Unit.

Pediatric Hospitalist Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited M.D. or D.O. medical school
  • Current North Carolina medical license
  • BC/BE in Pediatrics
  • Board Certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is encouraged

The hospital is a 180 bed tertiary care medical center with all pediatric subspecialties serving children from western North Carolina as well as parts of Virginia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
