Emergency Medicine in the United States Army

As an Emergency Physician, you’ll examine, diagnose, and treat Soldiers and their Families in critical times of need. You’ll lead medical units, perform potentially life-saving medical care, and start your medical career as an Officer in the distinguished U.S. Army healthcare community.

You’ll also research the latest advancements in medicine and receive advanced training opportunities.

Requirements

The role requires:

  • Doctor of Medicine/Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
  • US Citizenship
  • Eligibility for board certification.
