**Ophthalmology Associates of York is pleased to partner with WellSpan Health in fulfilling the eyecare needs of our community. This is a partnership-track opportunity with an independently owned and operated practice**

Ophthalmology Associates of York, LLC is a physician owned practice founded in 1976.  It’s the preeminent practice in York County, which has a population of 450,000+.  This well-respected group receives referrals from primary care physicians as well as optometrists.  Many staff members have dedicated 20+ years to the success of this collegial team.  Recruitment of an additional ophthalmologist is being driven by a long waiting list and appointments being booked six months out.

Position Specifics:

  • Fulltime, M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Successful completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Board eligibility/certification is required.
  • Comprehensive eyecare practice with fellowship trained glaucoma specialist.
  • Fellowship training is welcome but not necessary.

Practice Features:

  • A modern standalone building in an easily accessible suburban location
  • State-of-the-art equipment includes YAG Laser, new HVF & Cirrus OCT
  • Optical shop, nine examining lanes & private physician offices.
  • Surgeries performed at two nearby surgery centers.
  • Senior partner is Division Chief of Ophthalmology, WellSpan Health
  • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
  • Generous signing bonus & achievable productivity bonus
  • Call is 1:7 weeks and compensated at $7,000/week.
  • Professional Liability Insurance provided by the practice.
  • Health insurance and 4 weeks paid vacation.
  • Profit-sharing plan allows partners to make a generous (IRS max) retirement contribution.
