Medical Director of Psychiatry, Calvert Health

This is a unique opportunity to lead personalized care and support evidence-based practice. As the Medical Director, you will have a didactic relationship with the Executive Director while overseeing the service line with support from advanced practice nursing professionals. This role combines the charm of community hospital work with recognized national leadership in behavioral healthcare. 

You will have both clinical and administrative responsibilities, affording for a hybrid schedule with the opportunity for 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work.

The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise managing acute psychiatry care services, will be sensitive to the needs of hospital medical staff, and will have the ability to focus on both quality and continuity of care.

• Must have a current license to practice in Maryland at time of hire.
• Must be board certified.
