The Duke University Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a clinically oriented, board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our growing Wake County practice. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused with a desire to work in a close-knit, multidisciplinary environment in the care of patients with Breast and Gastrointestinal malignancies at our Duke Raleigh Hospital and Duke Cancer Center Cary locations. The successful candidate will enjoy strong connections with and support from other sub-specialized radiation oncology colleagues in both Wake County and at the Duke main campus in Durham.

Duke Radiation Oncology in Raleigh and Cary offers cutting-edge radiation treatment and special procedures including SBRT, IMRT/IGRT, and SRS. The Duke Wake County Cancer Center facilities have TrueBeam machines with OBI/CBCT for IGRT, SBRT, and gated treatment, as well as TrueBeam STX for SBRT and SRS. All centers have on-site CT simulation, with MR and PET/CT available locally. We utilize a networked Eclipse electronic medical record, and ARIA treatment planning systems. 

The department seeks a highly motivated individual to develop his/her professional career within Duke University Radiation Oncology and the Duke Cancer Institute. There will be opportunity for scholarly activities. Compensation will be based on AAPM bench marks, clinical and academic experience.
