Join a team that’s Changing What’s Possible – The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a dynamic, board certified, experienced sleep medicine physician to join our growing Sleep Center and serve as the executive physician leader for the MUSC Health System. The Sleep Medicine program is a collaboration between the Departments of Medicine, Psychiatry, Otolaryngology, Neurology and Pediatrics, and candidates with backgrounds in any of these specialties are encouraged to apply. The chosen candidate will play a key role in broadening access to sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment for patients throughout South Carolina and educating future leaders in sleep medicine.  Opportunities are available to contribute to sleep research based on candidate’s prior research experience.

 

We are seeking candidates with:

  • MD or DO with Board certification in Sleep Medicine
  • Additional advanced degree preferred (e.g. MPH, MBA, etc)
  • Minimum three years’ experience
  • Academic orientation, interest in teaching, and passion for outreach
  • Outstanding leadership ability and commitment to tripartite missions of patient care, research, and education
