We are a thriving independent community non-profit health system with abundant market capacity and a strong, growing economy. We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to help us serve 1,200+ new patients per year.

Armes Family Cancer Care Center (AFCCC) is the premier cancer care destination in the region. Designated as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Care Center by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the AFCCC offers over 40 different cancer treatments close to home. BVHS is investing in cutting-edge technology to deliver next-level cancer care.

  • Patient volumes are expected to double to 300 patients per day
  • Streamline check-in and improve patient privacy
  • Develop additional infusion space, patient exam rooms, care team spaces
  • Expand pharmacy and laboratory spaces
  • Designate specified areas for medical and radiation oncology
  • Additional linear accelerator and radiation CT Simulator
  • Increased access to 3-D mammography

HEALING, HOLISTIC CANCER CARE FOR A THRIVING COMMUNITY

  • Ability to choose patient mix and practice at top of license
  • Clinic 4 days/week, 1 administrative day/week (remote), 1:4 inpatient call
  • 50% Hematology/50% Oncology patient mix, most common cases are breast, colon, lung, prostate
  • Care team model, 1 dedicated RN and 1 MA per physician, 2 NPs
  • Chemo certified RN's for inpatient chemotherapy administration
