Opportunity Criteria
URGENT NEED FOR PROVIDER TO SEE VETERANS IN THEIR OWN FACILITY!

Seeking an Optometrist/Ophthalmologist Provider (MD, OD) within 15 miles of Columbia, SC; Charleston, SC or Rock Hill, SC.
Veterans Evaluations Services (VES), is contracted through the Department of Veterans Affairs. Our mission is to provide Veterans and transitioning service members with the benefits they’ve earned through their service to our country.
Exams are evaluative only for compensation and pension eligibility. These are non-treatment exams to determine a veterans benefits.
Optometrist/Ophthalmologist: must be able to provide Visual Field Test (VFT) example
You must be a provider in good standing, with active license and have your own office. The Veteran will travel to you.
You chose your schedule and determine how many veterans you are able to service. The hope is you can dedicate at least a few hours a week.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Salary: $67,000.00 - $202,000.00 per year (varies based on hours worked)
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Choose your own hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry, M.D. or Master of Surgery
- Own an office within 15 miles of Columbia, SC; Charleston, SC or Rock Hill, SC
- Have an ADA/OSHA compliant facility to conduct exams
- Optometry/Ophthalmologist License (Required)
