Locums Obgyn Needed In Nags Head, Nc

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Women’s Care - Nags Head, located in Nags Head North Carolina, is seeking a North Carolina Licensed, Board Certified OBGYN to provide locums call coverage. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled call for orientation.  

Coverage needed as soon as credentialed.
Clinic Coverage - Monday thru Friday. 8:30 4:30 - Clinic provider needs to be willing to take call as well.

Call coverage needed - **NOTE**
Will accept a provider for call only dates.  

The updated call need are as followed:
October 29 7a – November 4 7a
The full month of November, December, January and February 7a7a

 Job Details:
Inpatient & Outpatient
Call, Nights, & Weekends
Call 7-10 calls a month
Average Total Inpatient Census: 3-4
Approx 3-4 Labor and Delivery
Average # of patients/day/provider: 16-20
Average # admissions/1-2
Average # admissions/night 2-3
No ICU/Critical Care Duties
LT responds to codes
NRP, BLS, ACLS required from AHA
Call shared with 2 other providers

Procedures:  
OB/GYN procedures if called to ER, C-sections, Vaginal deliveries

In office procedures:  LEEP, Colposcopy, Endometrial Biopsies

Outer Banks Hospital Information:
24/7 pediatric hospitalist available
26 Critical Bed Hospital w/ 6 designated psych beds
4 bed convenient care staffed by one APP and a RN or paramedic
3 OR
Anesthesiologist
Onsite Radiologist
24 hour Laboratory Availability
ECU Health Air and ECU Health Ground Support to immediately transfer patients
