Mercyhealth South Invites Pediatric Faculty for Family Medicine Residents

An exceptional academic teaching role awaits BC/BE Pediatricians at Mercyhealth South in Janesville, Wisconsin. Elevate medical education and provide a dynamic clinical setting for Family Medicine residents.

Institutional Reach:

Mercyhealth, with its seven hospitals and over 80 clinics, spans across 60+ communities in Illinois and Wisconsin. Our diverse offerings encompass 75+ specialties, including neurosurgery, cardiovascular care, cancer care, and da Vinci robotic surgery.

 

  • Thrive within our established Family Medicine Faculty Team.
  • Balance your outpatient practice while dedicating the other half to precepting residents (including administration).
  • Calls will be shared with the other 6 pediatricians at the Mercyhealth East Clinic.
  • Utilize Epic EHR for seamless record-keeping.
  • Participate in newborn rounding , C- sections in rotation with other faculty members.
  • Responsibilities assigned by the program director as needed.
  • Admitting hospital: Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center – Janesville, WI.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO Board Certified in Pediatrics.
  • Completed residency training from an ACGME-accredited pediatric program.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Passion for teaching residents and medical students in a didactic/clinic setting.
  • Proficient in providing exceptional care for pediatric patients.
  • Previous faculty experience in an accredited residency or fellowship program is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
