Job Summary:
Portsmouth Regional Hospital is recruiting an Addiction fellowship-trained physician to join their residency program at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Live and work in the charming seacoast area in tax-free New Hampshire or commute from nearby cities in Massachusetts and Maine. This is a new service line Portsmouth Regional Hospital is providing for the residency program.Qualified Candidates:
- Licensed to practice in New Hampshire
- Completed an accredited residency program
- Fellowship trained in Addiction Psychiatry preferred, but not required, will consider Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine addiction fellowship-trained
- 2 years of experience as a core faculty member in an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program preferred, but not required
- Develop a service line for patients and curriculum for residents
- Mix of Inpatient and Outpatient, IOP
- Candidates must have strong team building, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Additional characteristics of qualified applicants include adaptability, creativity, as well as enthusiasm for teaching and quality patient care

About Portsmouth Regional Hospital:

- 30-bed inpatient psychiatric unit including 16 involuntary beds
