Medical Oncologist (Inpatient Only) - Saint Luke's Hospital - Kansas City, MO

Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute is actively searching for a BC/BE Medical Oncologist (100% inpatient) to join the comprehensive oncology team located at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, MO.

About the position
• The physician will join a dynamic, academically focused, regionally integrated group of oncologists with an emphasis on multidisciplinary care, quality, research, and teaching
• This employed position offers a flexible schedule and is open to candidates seeking a .5 FTE in addition those wanting a 1.0 FTE; Will work in conjunction with a full-time, dedicated inpatient oncology APP
• Excellent general hospitalist support with most oncology patients being admitted to general hospitalist service
• Saint Luke’s Hospital is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine; The candidate will work closely with HEM/ONC fellows, IM residents in addition to medical students
• The Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute has a robust clinical research program with NCI, industry and investigator initiated clinical trials as well as a Center for Precision Oncology and a molecular tumor board
• Commission on Cancer Silver Commendation Accredited Integrated Cancer Network Program and QOPI certified practice
