Baptist Health is adding an OB/GYN to our clinic in Fernandina Beach, FL, a community in Northeast Florida. This clinic is located just off the coast within Amelia Island, Florida. This is a vibrant coastal community not far from downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is truly an island paradise within Florida. With no state income tax, this area in Florida is one of the most rapidly growing communities in the Southeast. Due to this growth, we're looking for an OB/GYN who likes to deliver little ones and practice within the operating room. As this area continues to grow, our practice will too. We have future plans to add a midwife and additional OB/GYNs within the next two years. 

We have also made the investment into our birthing center, with an $8 million renovation and have just invested into the latest Da Vinci Nas Bot. 

This OB/GYN will practice the full spectrum of OB/GYN and deliver little ones at Baptist Medical Center Nassau. Our OB/GYN clinic at Baptist Medical Center Nassau is committed to serving the community.

We're seeking a dedicated OB/GYN who:

• Wants to practice in a growing community with growing obstetrical volumes.
• Can manage a practice where high-risk patients are referred.
• Is comfortable with robotics procedures within the OR.
• Has a board certification or is eligible for board certification.
• Is willing to practice the full spectrum (both Obstetrics & Gynecology)
• Has an unrestricted medical license.

Education Required

Doctorate of Medicine

Experience

• 1 year of Obstetrics Experience Preferred (not required)
• 1 year of Gynecology Experience Preferred (not required)

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred
• Licensed Physician Required
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License Required
