Pediatric Gastroenterolgy NP-BUMG
Banner University Medical Group (BUMG) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to assist in providing outpatient clinical services for its Pediatric Gastroenterology Division. Based out of the Pediatric clinics at Wilmot and Northwest, this provider will work closely with two lead physicians managing pediatric patients with functional gastrointestinal disorders. This is an excellent opportunity for a NP with prior experience working with a pediatric patient population. New grad NPs with previous nursing experience are encouraged to apply. GI physicians on staff to provide training and mentoring to help ensure success in this role.
Qualified candidate must be detail-oriented; dedicated to providing excellent care in challenging situations and be able to work independently with full support from the Pediatric Gastroenterology team.
Details:
Work Schedule: Full-time. M-F, 8-5 | No call/weekends required
Patient Volumes: 9 half day sessions of clinic per week with ½ day of administrative time
NP will manage own patient panel
Approximately 5 patients/session or 10/day
Required Qualifications and Essential Functions:
· PNP or FNP Board Certified or Board Eligible
· Ability to work with diverse patient populations
· Ability to provide chronic disease management and patient education
