The University of Vermont is seeking an Outpatient Neurologist for dual employment between Plattsburgh, NY and Burlington, VT. Opportunities for new graduates or experienced physicians who are seeking clinical positions.

This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a community setting while still being involved with an academic center. Located in the heart of the Green Mountain state, the Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) has a reputation for clinical excellence with a staff deeply rooted in our community. 

Job Opportunity Highlights:

• Position details:
  • 4 weeks a year - 24/7 Inpatient Coverage at UVMMC - Burlington, VT
  • 48 weeks a year- Outpatient practice at UVM Health Network – CVPH - Plattsburgh, NY
  • Full-time, 12-month, 1.0 FTE position
  • M-F, Outpatient Practice
• Attending staff privileges at CVMC
• Evolving graduate medical education site with opportunities for teaching 
• 2 Physicians in the practice

Additional

• J1 Visa possibility
• Must be American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology board eligible/certified
• Fellowship training in a clinical neurology discipline is desired, but not a requirement
