Lifespan Physician Group (LPG), the largest physician organization in Rhode Island and academically affiliated with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University has an opening for a board certified or eligible child & adolescent psychiatrist at our Gateway Healthcare Center.  This center cares for children and adolescents with a broad range of cultural and economic backgrounds with an emphasis on the treatment of psychiatric conditions, supporting family relationships, and facilitating functioning in the community.  The Gateway Child & Family Outpatient Service has a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, licensed mental health counselors, and case management.   In addition, Gateway is the site for our Mi Gente Clinic which is a clinic for Latinx youth and their families to receive evidence-based treatment in Spanish. 

In this position, you would also be on the medical staff at Bradley Hospital, the nation’s first child psychiatric hospital, which has a mission focused exclusively on the mental health and welfare of children and their families.  Bradley offers the full spectrum of clinical care, including inpatient, partial hospital, outpatient, in-home, residential, and school programs for children ages 6 months to 18 years old. As the primary training site, in partnership with Hasbro Children’s Hospital, for the Child and Adolescent Fellowship, Triple Board Residency, and Child Psychology Training Programs of the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Bradley provides a vibrant clinical, academic and research environment, encouraging professionals to achieve their career goals and contribute to advancement of pediatric mental health.
