Advanced Surgical Technology

• Advanced Surgical Technology offers vascular surgery, general surgery, plastic surgery, primary care, behavioral health, cosmetics and aesthetic services. The practice has 3 surgery locations: Mt. Vernon, Centralia, and Herrin.
• Currently, the team includes 1 general/vascular surgeon, 1 plastic surgeon, 1 breast surgeon, 1 internal medicine physician, 3 surgery nurse practitioners, and 13 primary care mid-levels; 2 of which focus on behavioral health.

Qualifications:

• Board certified / board eligible
• MD or DO
• Experienced providers or new graduates (community-based residency preferred – not academic program)
• Can support H1B visas and J1 waiver applicants

Currently patients in the region are experiencing extremely long wait times that in some cases are forcing them to travel up to 2 hours for care. 

• Schedule is generally Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm but can be adjusted based on provider preference.
• Provider could work in multiple locations across Southern Illinois, the preference of location will be discussed during contract negotiations
