The Department of Pediatrics invites applications for the Assistant/Associate Professor position within the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition

Eligible candidates must hold a MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree and be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology by the American Board of Pediatrics. 

The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition advances the treatment of pediatric gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and nutritional disorders through coordinated patient care, research, and educational activities.

Our team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and dietitians provide state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures and treatments for both common and rare diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, gallbladder, bile ducts, and pancreas. We also offer comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for pediatric patients with acute and chronic liver disease and work in conjunction with Duke’s liver and small bowel transplant program. The division collaborates on patient care with the Divisions of Pediatric Surgery, Transplant Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Otolaryngology, Pediatric Radiology, and Interventional Radiology. The division coordinates biliary and pancreatic interventional endoscopy (primarily ERCP and ultrasound) with the Department of Internal Medicine’s Division of Gastroenterology.
