Deaconess Heart Group seeks a Full-Time BC/BE Cardiac Electrophysiologist (who completed a 2-year EP Fellowship) to join a 25-physician and 20-advanced practice provider cardiology and cardiovascular surgical group employed by Deaconess Health System, both regional leaders in care and treatment of cardiovascular disease.   Candidates should be proficient in advanced ablation procedures, lead extractions and advanced arrhythmia management.  Call coverage is limited to the EP service line with an anticipated 1:5 weekday/weekend.  Supported by outpatient APPs in the clinic setting and inpatient APPs in the hospital setting.  Successful outreach clinics staffed by the Deaconess Heart Group office in IN, KY & IL.  Two dedicated EP labs at the Gateway & Midtown Hospitals with three additional labs for device implant.  Dedicated office based device staff with integrated electronic remote monitoring service for CIED.  Established lead extraction program, VT ablation program and Impella support.  High volume AF ablation program.  Fully implemented EMR (Epic) for inpatient and outpatient.  As an employee of Deaconess Health System, you will enjoy a highly competitive compensation package (with bonus incentives) (income guarantee of $775K/yr. for the first year) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Deaconess Orthopedic Neuroscience Hospital opened in 2018. This specialized hospital offers expanded surgical services for orthopedic or neuro surgeries, designated neuro post-surgical care units for spine surgeries, minimally-invasive neuro procedures, biopsies and brain surgeries.

STONE FAMILY CENTER

Evansville is home to the new Stone Center, which contains Indiana University School of Medicine – Evansville as well as programs for the University of Evansville and USI. More than 250 USI graduate-level students in the Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy, Master’s of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs, and 120 undergraduate, senior nursing students will use the Stone Center.
