Pediatrics Outpatient in Hayward - Sleepy Hollow

TPMG is seeking a Full-Time BE/BC Pediatrician to join our team in Hayward-Sleepy Hollow, CA.

The Kaiser Hayward Sleepy Hollow Pediatric Department along with our two sister sites located in San Leandro and Fremont comprise the Greater Southern Alameda Area (GSAA) Pediatric Department.  Our physicians and staff are part of The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG), a physician-led, integrated, multi-specialty group.

The Pediatrics Department at Kaiser Hayward Sleepy Hollow serves an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse population of children and families.  Our pediatric group includes 17 general pediatricians, an adolescent clinic, and multiple on-site pediatric subspecialties (pediatric cardiology, pediatric endocrinology, pediatric nephrology, developmental pediatrics, and pediatric neurology).   Each of our general pediatricians have an office as well as 2 exam rooms.  In addition, our pediatric department is supported by pediatric nutritionists, a social worker, a Lactation specialized nurse in our Newborn Care Center, and a behavioral medicine specialist.  Located within our facility are laboratory, radiology, pharmacy services as well as an urgent care clinic that supports care of injuries and performs minor procedures. 

To better serve our Spanish-speaking patients and families, we have a specific module that is staffed by Spanish-speaking staff and physicians who provide culturally appropriate care.  In addition, our pediatricians and staff work closely with The Primary School, an innovative program that integrates education, health care, and family support services to dramatically improve outcomes for local underserved preschool-aged children. Our pediatricians are committed to evidence-based care practices, and we strongly believe in the importance of addressing social determinants of health and promoting resilience in our patients and community.  

Position Description:  The position is an 8/10^th full time position, 4 days per week on a routine basis, and 1-3 weekend days per month (based on seasonal needs).  There are no overnight call responsibilities.  Appointments include urgent and well care pediatrics visits.  Patient visits may be in-person office visits or virtual visits by video or phone.

Full-time annual salary range is $260,040 to $275,040 plus additional potential incentives up to $31,000*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.

• Board Certification or Eligibility
• Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA
