Founded by our Central WA Family Medicine Residency program (CWFM) in 1993, CHCW has grown into an integrated community health center to include full spectrum primary care, pediatric, senior residential care, behavioral and addiction care, and dental serving the Yakima and Kittitas Counties at multiple sites.

Practice Highlights at Community Health of Central WA-Ellensburg
- FM or FM/OB to work with an interdisciplinary team of residents, APPs, BHCs, pharmacist, and support staff to provide primary health care and selective medical services/procedures to a diverse patient panel in a rural University town located about 90 min from Seattle.
- Opportunity for precepting and participating in didactics for our residents. (clinical faculty optional)
- Flexible scheduling: 32 hours of patient facing time with 8 hours of dedicated admin time. Typical schedule 4/10s.
- Expected encounters of 17-19+ pts per day to meet community need.
- Opportunity for those who have a desire to include OB services with or without deliveries.
- Working with, and sensitive to a marginalized patient population in a FQHC/CHC setting would be a plus.
- EMR: OCHIN EPIC.

- Base Salary: $196k-$206k DOE includes clinic and precepting (optional), $6k differential (for Ellensburg only), and experience. Additional incentives for OB fellowship (if applicable), call and deliveries (optional), and encounter incentives with potential bonuses >$20k p/y based on 19 visits per day. Increased bonus with increase of visits.
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree or IMG equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine US Residency.
- WA License or the ability to obtain a WA license.
- DEA certificate.
- BE/BC required.
- Great peer references and in good standing.
- Approved for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and health plans.
