Hospitalist Physician - Select Specialty Hospital - Springfield Missouri

This opportunity: 

• 60-bed critical illness care facility
• Comprehensive rehabilitation program (physical, occupational, and speech therapies) with pulmonary and respiratory care, advanced wound care, IV antibiotic therapy, dialysis, and post-surgical care services. 
• 7on/7off schedule 7a-7p 
• EMR- Epic
• Occasional new admissions
• Round on 18-20 patients daily
• Vent management required
• Comfortable with procedures (central lines & intubations; emergent basis)
• Premium compensation package including relocation, commencement bonus, and quality bonus

• Select Specialty Hospital – Springfield is a 60-bed free-standing critical illness recovery hospital, located approximately two blocks east of Cox Health Hospital South. We specialize in helping critically ill patients breathe, speak, eat, walk and think as independently as possible.  Select Specialty Hospitals specialize in long term care for chronically critically ill or post-ICU patients.
• Select Specialty Hospital provides comprehensive, specialized care for patients with acute or chronic respiratory disorders. Our primary focus is to wean medically complex patients from mechanical ventilation and restore independent breathing
