Opportunity Criteria
Full-time Clinical Faculty Physician
The Department of Emergency Medicine at John Peter Smith Health Network (JPS) in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a full-time clinical faculty Physician to join our expanding team.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM)
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine
- Minimum of 1 year Emergency Medicine experience, post-residency required
- Experience working in an academic setting in similar volume is preferred
Compensation / Benefits:

About Us
The program at JPS was established in 2011 as a fully accredited three-year program with 15 residents per class. JPS is recognized as the only Level 1 Trauma Center for Tarrant County and a comprehensive level 1 stroke center. Seeing over 130,000 patient visits annually, the county hospital population provides incredible learning opportunities in volume and pathology. In addition, the department supports ultrasound, administration, street medicine, and education fellowships.
