Requirements: MD or DO Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Board Certified with 1-2 years of ED experience required or Emergency Medicine Board Eligible or Certified

• 22K Annual ED Volume
• Level IV Trauma Center
• 16 ED Beds
• 12-hour shifts
• 24-Hour Physician Coverage and 12 Hours of APC Coverage
• EMR: EPIC
• Transfer Center
• Flexible Scheduling
• Night Differential
• Specialty Services: GI, Obs, Peds, PICU, Cardiology w/o intervention, and Ortho (Mondays)

Amory, MS is located in Monroe County on the waterway and near the Alabama state line. Amory is a small family oriented and growing community approximately 30 miles from Tupelo. With Amory's proximity to the waterway, there is no shortage of outdoor activities such as fishing, outdoor activities  and water sports. Amory's school systems have an A-rating making this small Mississippi town a great place to raise a family.  Amory's downtown is growing with the addition of several new business and places to eat and shop. 
 

Facility Information: The North Mississippi Medical Center Health System is comprised of 7 hospitals with NMHS Tupelo being the largest of the 7 facilities. NMHS Amory is one of the 6 community hospitals that support the Main Hospital Campus in Tupelo. NMHS Amory is approximately 30 miles east of Tupelo and is a 95 bed facility with 16 ED beds. NMHS Amory has the following specialty services: Surgery, GI, OB, Peds, Cardiology.
