Pediatric Hospitalist

Deaconess Clinic is seeking a part-time BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join our growing team.  This position will work 7/8 days/month (flexible schedule).  Shifts are 24 hours.  Physician is expected to be available for admissions while working, but physician’s presence on-site is not required for the entire 24-hour shift (8 hours minimum on-site).  There is an opportunity for teaching with Deaconess Family Medicine Residents or Indiana University Medical Students. Call schedule is every 3^rd weekend.   Physician will supervise on-site 12-hour shifts of APP support with teaching and training.  Physician also cover the newborn nursery and take a rotation of not on staff baby coverage for physicians or pediatricians who don’t see their inpatient newborns.  Shared EMR (Epic) system between clinics and hospitals.   As a part-time employee of Deaconess, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, in addition to a competitive salary plus incentives/bonus.  Sign-on bonus included and possibility for student loan repayment if applicable.
