Inpatient Psychiatrist Position in Washington, DC - Full-Time
Join our team in Washington, DC as a full-time board-certified/board-eligible inpatient Psychiatrist. We are actively seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for delivering quality care to adult and addiction patients.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat mental health issues in adult patients
- Provide medication management, psychotherapy, and evidence-based treatments
- Conduct assessments, psychological evaluations, and individual/group therapy
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Active and valid license to practice medicine in Washington, DC
This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Benefits and Compensation
- Job type: Full time employed W-2 position.
- Salary range: $275,000-$350,000
- Benefits: Robust benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, company-matched 401K, ST/LT disability, etc.
- Malpractice insurance covered through UHS
- PTO: 25 days Paid Time Off annually.
- CME: 5 paid days + reimbursable expenses.
- Other compensation: Relocation Assistance and Sign-On Bonus available.
